At a Chinese restaurant, Max opens his fortune cookie and reads the following message: "Your life is in danger. Say nothing to anyone. You must leave the city immediately and never return. Repeat: say nothing..."

Max was a college student. His family lived in a small village but he moved to the city so that he could easily go to college. Max is bit of playful guy he didn’t take anything serious and he hated commitments. But the only thing he loved was his girlfriend. He was crazy about her because she was gorgeous. And also, he loved Chinese foods.

So, one day he went to a Chinese restaurant to get lunch. After he had lunch, he ordered a fortune cookie. And he opened it and read the message. It was “Your life is in danger. Say nothing to anyone. You must leave the city immediately and never return. Repeat say nothing…” And suddenly he felt cold like someone opened the window. But there was no window opened. He didn’t take it seriously like everything else in his life.
When he went to his apartment complex, he saw caution tapes around the complex and saw some police officers.

He asked “officer what happened?”

officer heard it he saying” I know exactly what happened”

Then officer said “Tell me”

He said “Tell you what?”

what officer herd was “I don’t tell you”

So, the problem Is clear now. No matter what he says it will also be opposite of what he really says.

Always it will be negative meaning and if he really says something negative, it doesn’t change and it will be negative as it is.

But he didn’t realize it first. when Police man was trying put his hand to his gun he said “Son, please don’t do anything foolish and put your hands in the air”

Max said “officer, officer I didn’t do anything I just got here”

What officer heard was he saying “I did this. It was me all alone and I have been here this whole the time.

Officer suddenly point the gun at him and said “Surrender or I will shoot” this time Max didn’t say anything. That instant, he ran and police officer shot. but it didn’t hit him. He ran to an ally and hid. So, police man couldn’t find him.

Then his girlfriend called him and asked” Hi what you’re doing? Did you get your lunch?”

He said “Yes I had my lunch but since then weird things keep happening to me”

what she heard was “what I’m doing or whether I had my lunch or not is none of your business so mind your own”

She said “what, I’m your girlfriend”

And she heard back what he saying was “you heard me. And you’re not my girlfriend”

After that she yelled at him and broke up with him. Max couldn’t understand what was happened.

He got so confused and he thought “what is going on why every time I say something, something terrible happen?” then he remembered what was written in that fortune cookie. And max was so scarred. Then he thought “from now on I wouldn’t say a word to anyone”. He managed to get to the main road and he keep tried to avoid attention. Then he saw a news that he was in from a television at a shop. He has founded guilty for murdering his neighbor. In that moment he got speechless and his face looked like he saw a ghost. He thought “I couldn’t speak to anyone; my girlfriend dumped me and now this?”

He couldn’t think straight and only thing that came to his mind was “I can’t be in the city anymore. No one will understand even if I explain all of this. It will only make things worse” then he secretly headed back to his home village thinking everything I have loved is gone now. I had been great and now I have nothing. What happened to me?”

Max went back to his village left everything behind and from his bag a piece of paper dropped without him knowing. It was that fortune cookie paper. And the other side of the paper had written” It was only for 24 hours”. But Max didn’t see that side in the first place. He got back into normal after 24 hours but he couldn’t get his old life ever again.
